I have many skills accross the IT enviroment. Some are currently better than others for many reasons. Some I have not used for a number of years so have gone out of date and some I was never that good at in the first place! Often it is useful to get an overview understanding of the things your technology interfaces with.

ITIL should be found at every step of what is done in any IT team. Be this internal service delivery, interfacing with customers incident reports or the changemagment and release cycles of software or services.
